2 killed, 35 injured in twin blasts at Moon Market Lahore

Lahore, Pakistan News :- At least 2 people have been killed, 35 others sustained injuries in two blasts in Moon Market Allama Iqbal Town Lahore on Monday night.
Panic prevailed in the market after the blast. The blast was so powerful that its sound was heard nearby areas. Fire engulfed many nearby shops after the blasts. The blasts were occurred near MCB back.
Police have cordoned off the area and sealed the Moon Market. Rescue 1122 teams and Edhi ambulances have been reached and relief activities have been started. Rescue teams are trying hard to control the fire. The injured are being shifted to the nearby Shiekh Zayed Hospital. According to reports till this time 30-35 injured have been shifted to the hospital. Five women are among the injured in which two are in critical situation.
Moon market is a commercial center of Iqbal Town, Lahore, where large number of shoppers especially women and children are normally present.
