22 LHC Judges Take Oath

LAHORE, Pakistan News: Lahore High Court 22 Additional judges sworn in Friday;with addition of the new judges the bench strength in LHC has increased to 44.

Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Khwaja Mohammed Sharif administered oath to the judges.

The names of the new judges include Mian Shahid Iqbal, Farrukh Irfan, Mamun Rasheed, Sheikh Shaukat Umar Pirzada, Waqar Hassan Mir, Yawar Ali Khan, Mohammed Khalid Mehmood, Chaudhry Shahid Saeed, Anwar Pahore, Ejaz Ahmed, Sardar Mohammed Shamim, Hassan Raza Pasha, Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi, Mohammed Anwar-ul-Haq, Qasim Khan, Shahid Hameed Dar,
Chaudhry Mohammed Tariq, Mazhar Iqbal Sidhu, Rauf Ahmed Sheikh, Mohammed Naseem Akhtar and Ikhlaq Ahmed.

High court judges and senior lawyers attended the ceremony at Lahore High Court premises.

The addition of 22 new judges increased the LHC bench strength to 44 judges including four PCO judges Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi, Justice Syed Hamid Ali Shah, Justice Hasnat Ahmed Khan and Justice Syed Sajjad Ali Shah, which were not invited for the ceremony.
