4 killed, 2 injured in firing on van in Gilgit

GILGIT Pakistan : Four people were killed and two others sustained injuries when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a passenger vehicle in Gilgit Wednesday.

Situation has become tense in the area after the incident.

Police said that unidentified gunmen opened fire on a passenger van near Leprosy Hospital here.

Heavy contingent of police has started patrolling.
