5 Accused killed in Alleged Police Encounter: Lahore

LAHORE: Five wanted accused have been killed in an alleged police encounter in Harbans Pora area of Lahore.

CIA police claimed the gun-downed accused were involved in murder, kidnapping for ransome, robbery and other serious offences.

The accused opened fire when CIA police raided a ‘dera’ in Sardar Pura area of Jullo village Thursday morning following a lead of their presence in there.

Police surrounded the ‘dera’ and started counter firing resulting in death of five accused.

High officials and heavy contingent of police have arrived the scene.

Exchange of fire between police and accused continued for three hours.

According to police officials the killed accused were involved in serious crimes.
