Asghar Khan’s plea to be heard after 16 years

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) Monday fixed February 29 to hear the petition regarding the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) giving money to politicians.
It should be mentioned here the petition was filed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asghar Khan 16 years ago.
The petition questions the ISI’s doling out money to the politicians. Meantime, the former ISI chief Gen. (rtd.) Durrani submitted an affidavit confirming the accusation.
Various politicians demanded the petition be heard.
The petition has called upon the apex court to punish the politicians and political groups who have been receiving pots of money from the secret agency. TrendPK
