On the other hand, gas loadshedding for domestic customers is continued uninterruptedly, due to which people are facing problems. At least 697 CNG stations of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Jhelum and Attock are closed under gas management plan. Domestic users are getting gas with low pressure. Gas remains suspended in most of the cities at daytime. Due to which, even cooking has become a difficult task. Gas has also been suspended to a number of factories and textile units in Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala and Peshawar. Spokesman of Sui Northern Gas , the company is receiving 2,100 million cubic feet (mcf) daily while demand of gas is 2,300 mcf. So for, the company is facing shortfall of 400 mcf.
