Country Wide Protest Against Nawaz Sharif By PPP Activists

President Zardari has instructed the activists and workers of Pakistan Peoples Party not to burn effigy of PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif. Several rallies were organized in different cities of Punjab to show support for President Asif Ali Zardari.
The PPP workers also took out a rally in Rawalpindi, where they set ablaze tyres. The workers had gathered in large numbers with placards inscribed with slogans in support of President Asif Ali Zardari.
President Zardari has advised the workers and activist to remain calm. PML-N had condemned this act by the PPP workers.
Large rallies were also held in Multan and Karachi also in support of the President. PML-N leader Khawja Saad Rafik said that Burning the effigy is no answer of PML-N patience. PPP has violated the Article 177. PPP should find the fault in Presidency. I would speak to Qaira on his comment. Prevaiz Musharf could not control the judiciary in uniform how would will Zardari control the independent judiciary. He also informed that entire PML-N leadership has assured of full support to Nawaz Sharif.
