The WHO experts to the Philippines has decided to help contain the deadly disease. The four-member WHO team will work with and advise local officials in the fight against leptospirosis. Parts of Manila and outlying areas are still flooded with standing water more than a month after Ketsana tropical storm dumped a record amount of rain in the capital.
