During Voyage 7 Pakistani Migrants Dead
DERA GHAZI KHAN: Seven Pakistanis traveling illegally to Gulf countries through launch were killed during
the voyage because of starvation. Their bodies were dumped into the sea.
Geo News reported that a convoy of 25 persons belonged to different areas of Punjab illegally left for Gulf countries. Twelve persons were belonged to Gajjugi basti of Dera Ghazi Khan. They were reached Kanwor area of Iran via Gwadar and then agent loaded them on a launch to send them Dubai.
The launch had been stopped journey due to technical fault, left them in a sea for eight days without food and water. An Iranian sailor and seven Pakistanis were died due to lack of food and water whose bodies were dumped into the sea. Four deceased Mukhtar Hussain, Rehmat Hussain, Ameer Muhammad and Ali Muhammad belonged to Gajjugi.
Three out of 18 missing persons escaped from the disaster and succeeded to reach back their homes that stated the details of incident.
