Federal Cabinet Approves 7 Hydel Projects
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has approved 7 Hydel power projects besides various development plans, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcast Qamar Zaman Kaira said Wednesday.

Meeting of the federal cabinet held with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in chair which discussed approval of Kerry-Lugar bill and its impacts on Pakistan besides the situation in tribal areas and the possible aftermaths of the future army operation in South Waziristan.
The meeting also discussed plan of action to cop the sugar crisis.
Addressing a news conference, the minister said the cabinet ratified the United Nations Convention Against Organised Crimes and amendments in the Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance, 2007.
Commenting on army chief’s concerns over the US aid bill while chairing Corp Commander Conference today, he said “Gen Kiyani is an army chief and can give his viewpoints.”
