c5d4ed4d82malik FIA Starts Investigation into Arms License ScandalPakistan News: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that upto Rs 125,000 bribes are received for the grant of prohibited bore weaponry license, Federal Investigation Authoriy (FIA) has started an investigations into the scandal.
Rehman Malik informed the Committee for Interior that Capt. Zadi and Jamil Abbasi were involved in security company Interrisk arms license scandal. Many licenses for members National assembly were issued without his approval. Thousands of fake arms licenses were confiscated in Karachi.
Rehman Malik said that several criminals got hold onto the licenses as well. Speaking to media after the briefing to the committee he said American training camp at Sahala Police collage has also been closed down. The American high commissioner has complained about the closing of the camp.
