Forces Again Steped Up Against Militants

PESHAWAR: Security forces have once again stepped up their actions against the militants by clamping curfew in Tehsil Bara of Khayber Agency.

Sources said that the security forces yesterday morning winding up its operation and lifting curfew in Tehsil Bara had handed over the check posts to Khasadar Force, but hardly after few hours the incidents of bomb attack on the vehicles of forces and later in the evening firing of mortal shells from Bara to Peshawar, the forces reversing its earlier decision once again clamped curfew and took over the control from the Khasadars. All roads leading out of Bara are being picketed and closed for traffic, while the security forces kept shelling overnight on the suspected hideouts of militants. However no loss of life was reported.
