Forces Recovered Arms And Explosives From Hostel At Bloch University
QUETTA: Security forces claimed to have recovered illegal arms and explosives from a hostel of Balochistan University amid raid conducted through joint action by police security officers late on Tuesday night, geo news reported.
According to FC sources, FC cum university security officers and police personnel raided on a boys’ hostel at Balochistan University, meanwhile, amid search bid they recovered arms and explosive materials including 14 hand grenade, 40 locally manufactured bombs, 20 detonators, a pistol and other explosive materials. However, no arrest was made.
FC officials, having seized the forbidden materials, have kicked off probe, sources added.
It is worth of mention that Balochistan University is thus far closed since July 31 owing to summer vacation while administration claimed to reopen Varsity as early as September 28.
Students hostels were vacated during the vacations, sources concluded.
