The largest Army base in the world is under lockdown after authorities reported a third shooter in Texas mass shooting. A third gunman has opened fire on police officials who have surrounded multiple buildings at the Fort Hood army base in Texas, officials reported Thursday.The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials are en route to the scene at Fort Hood. The massive Texas base houses 55,000 military personnel. At least seven people are dead and 12 are injured.
One alleged gunman is in custody, and a second is at large on the Fort Hood base. Media outlets reported the victims and gunmen are all military personnel. The White House said President Barack Obama is monitoring the situation.
