Chicago Bears player dies, Gains Adams.  The young prospective NFL star was just 26 years of age, leaving many to question how did Gaines Adams die? The player had no previous medical conditions or injuries to alert anyone that this was a possibility.  His tragic death was sudden and shocking.

According to reports, Gaines Adams had cardiac arrest due to an aenlarged heart.  This was determined by Greenwood County South Carolina coroner Marcia Kelley-Clark.  Adams was rushed to the ER at Self Regional Healthcare at 7:14 a.m. EST, and pronounced dead in less than an hour.  Prior to his shocking death, Adams had been visiting his girlfriend in the area.
