Gilgit Baltistan Package Approved By NA Body

ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Tuesday endorsed the constitutional Package for Gilgit and Baltistan but urged the government to remove reservations of Kashmiri leaders on the matter.

After the meeting of the NA body, chairman of the committee Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman in a media briefing said that Secretary Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas briefed the committee.

He said the committee was of the opinion that the reservations of the Kashmiri leaders on the issue should be satisfied.
