Gojra Incident, Four Accused Captured
FAISALABAD: Police have arrested four accused of the Gojra tragedy and captured large quantity of arms and ammunition from them.
Regional Police Officer Ahmed Raza Tahir in a press conference here on Tuesday said police have arrested accused Faqeer Hussain alias Shahji, Khalid Hussain alias Khalidi, Ejaz Goga and Abid Farooqui. The accused are linked with an outlawed outfit and they had got training during Afghan Jihad, he said.
He said the police trying to capture a key accused of Gojra incident Maulana Anis-ur-Rehman.
The accused had hurled kerosene oil filled shopping bags at Christian locality in Gojra and opened indiscriminate fire in which several people were killed.
