ICC Test Rankings 2010
ICC Team Rankings 2010, Gautam Gambhir maintains his top spot in the ICC Test Rankings 2010 as well. By smashing the century in the 2nd innings against the Bangladesh he has helped his time to win by 113-runs and had also consolidated histop spot in the ranking as well. Gambhir now tops the shart with 881-points, 38 points ahead of the South African skipper Graeme Smith who holds the second position.

Sachin Tendulkar scoring his 44th century has helped him climb two spots up in the ranking and now he is at 13th spot with 744 points. VVS Laxman also moved two spots up to be placed 15th. However, Rahul Dravid slipped five spots down to 19th position.
Among the bowlers, Harbhajan Singh is the only Indian bowlers to be named in the top 10 ranking. The off-spinner is in the sixth spot with 705 points.
Fast bowlers Ishant Sharma gained nine place to move to 16th position after he took 5-wickets in the 1st test. Leg-spinner Amit Mishra rose 10 places and has moved up to 45th position after a match winning performance from him against the Bangladesh. Amit Mishra took 3-wickets in the 1st innings and then in the second innings he scored his maiden test century and picked up 4-wickets as well.
Bangladesh captain Shakib Al-Hasan’s seven wickets in the match – including 5-62 in the first innings has helped him gain 9 spots to move to 15th position.

The bowling chart is still headed by South African fast bowler Dale Steyn and followed by Australia fast bowler Mitchell Johnson.
