Imran addresses women rally in Lahore

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said his party just believes in fighting for the rights of the deprived people not for the victory to safeguard corruption.

PTI chairman expressed these views while addressing a crowded electoral meeting held at NA-123, kot khawaja saeed in connection with the party electoral campaign for its candidate Mian Hamid Mairaj. Among others the party women wing office bearers including  Saloni Bokhari, Shamsa Ali and Mian Hamid Mairaj also spoke on that occasion.

Imran Khan in his aggressive style raps the PML-N leadership for having double standards and double faces to deceive the local people and to please their foreign masters. Nawaz Sharif can never play with neutral unpires like he used to play cricket in the presence of his own ‘umpires’, he said.

He asked the masses to whom they would like to be the rulers those who had proven themselves as ‘shoe polishers’ of their foreign masters or to those that wanted to bring the change in the life of a common man. He asked the silent majority to come forward for bringing the change.

Commenting over the anti-poor policies of the rulers he said that price hike, electricity shortage,unemployment, lawlessness and injustice were the core issues but neither rulers nor opposition ever tried to resolve them in the past two years, he added.

He said that the time has gone when the people of the country were being made fool in the name of democracy and now the masses had become so mature and have seen the true faces of the so-called pro-masses leaderships.

PTI chairman was of the view that the opposition and rulers are the two faces of one coin as the both wanted to safeguard their vested interests. If Nawaz Sharif vowed for bringing the looted money from abroad he should first bring his ‘foreign money’ in Pakistan.

Imran Khan asked the people for how long they would trust those that had repeatedly not only betrayed and deceived the masses but also prefer to leave the country to save their lives. Rulers and opposition were never sincere to the people and this was the reason the poor man facing miseries in all fields of life.

He said that the ball is in the court of the masses and this is the time to think for a bright future while rejecting the ‘tested disloyal’ elements that did everything for victory to enjoy the luxurious lifestyle by adding miseries for a common man.  Come forward and support PTI backed candidate for a real change, he said, voting for  power thieves and the looters of national wealth could never deliver anything to the people.
