Jungle Law Prevails in Punjab: Salman Taseer

LAHORE, Pakistan News: Governor Salman Taseer has said that jungle law prevailed in Punjab.
Addressing a seminar ‘Future of Democracy in Country’ at a private university, the Governor claimed that Roti is being sold in Rs2 only at some Tandoors in the city. “Had there been no democracy in the country, India would have attacked Pakistan”, Taseer asserted. He said that public was the biggest court where every government was accountable after every five years.
