KABUL, Afghanistan: Karzai Challenger Drops Out of Election, Abdullah  says rival will not participate in elections Nov. 7 presidential runoff after his demand for change in the electoral commission were not met.

Abdullah denounced the commission of fraud in the first round of voting Aug. 20 and told supporters Sunday that he offered demands to ensure a fair vote this time.

But he said his proposals were rejected, so “I shall not participate in the elections on November 7.”

He said that a transparent election, it was not possible.

Abdullah said it is asking its supporters to boycott the runoff.
