TEHRAN: Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards test-fired on Monday the long-range Shahab-3 missile which Tehran says is capable of hitting targets in Israel after announcement of wargame.
It broadcast footage of the missile being fired from desert terrain.
Iran says the weapon has a range of 1,300-2,000 kilometres (800-1,240 miles), which would put Israel, most Arab states and parts of Europe including much of Turkey within its range.
