LOS ANGELES: Michael Jackson Film Receives Enthusiastic Applause, Michael Jackson This Is It, which debuted to enthusiastic applause from fans attending the premiere of the film chronicles the concerts that could have been.
“This Is It”, performed as a concert Tuesday night in Los Angeles premiere, the audience clapped celebrity after each number. The film shows Jackson with confidence at par with the dancers half her age, making his signature moonwalk and other hits like “Thriller”,”Billie Jean “and” Beat It “.
Director and collaborator of many years, Jackson Kenny Ortega introduced the film to the Nokia Theater audience, calling it the “ultimate sacred documents of our leader and our friend.”
Screenings of “This Is It” started simultaneously in 99 territories around the world, Tuesday and Wednesday.
