Musharraf delays return to Pak on Jan 31

LAHORE: Former President Pervez Musharraf has reportedly cancelled his plan to return to Pakistan on Jan 31.

The decision came as apex court of the country summoned Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on a contempt notice over his refusal to ask Switzerland for re-opening cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.

Musharraf waived the cases against Zardari and other politicians issuing now-annulled NRO through an ordinance, paving the way for Benazir Bhutto’s return to Pakistan to reenter national politics.
