Bangladesh won the fifth and final ODI at Chittagong by just one wicket and one over to spare. Chasing 222, the Tigers kept Zimbabwe interested in the game all the while by losing wickets at regular intervals. In the end, it needed an unbeaten 73 (from 90 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes) from Naeem Islam at no.8 to win the match for the homeside. Bangladesh have clinched the 4-1 with that.
Earlier Zimbabwe got to 221 out of nowhere thanks to a brilliant century from Brendan Taylor after they were asked to bat first by Shakib Al Hasan. Naeem Islam got the Man of the Match award and Abdul Razzak picked up the Player of the Series award.
