North Korea will pardon and release two US journalists after former president Bill Clinton apologised to leader Kim Jong-Il for their behaviour, state media reported.

“The measure taken to release the American journalists is a manifestation of the DPRK’s (North Korea’s) humanitarian and peace-loving policy,” the official Korean News Agency reported.
