Northern Areas Will Be Called Now Gilgit -Baltistan
ISLAMABAD: Northern Territories would now be called Gilgit-Baltistan, adopted at the federal cabinet on Saturday.
The Cabinet has to make 15-deicded Council for the new set.
The constitutional head of the new facility would be named governor and Qamaruz Zaman Kaira to be the first Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, the Cabinet decided.
Gilgit-Baltistan have its own legislature and cabinet.
