Operation in Swat, 2 Militants Perish: ISPR

SWAT: Two militants were killed and five arrested in last 24 hours during ongoing military offensive in Swat valley, two security men also sustained injures who have been shifted to hospital for medial treatment.

According to ISPR, local clans of Lashkar continued offensive against militants in Swat and Malakand Division on Friday while two wanted terrorists were arrested in Nokhara and Kalakot areas.

Local people handed security forces 89 rifles in a village here while an underground hidden tunnel was discovered near Aloch area as search operation from done by security forces, sources added.

Reports of exchange of firing between militants and security troops also reached here with two FC officials injured, sources concluded.
