Pakistan Beat India by 2 Wickets U-19 Contest

LINCOLN: Pakistan beat India by two wickets in a thrilling contest between the archrivals in the ICC Under-19 World Cup quarter-final here.

Pakistan lost their first two wickets at 11 and third wicket at 16 runs while chasing the target of 115. However some good batting in the middle order helped them to home. Ahsan Ali 30, Rameez Aziz 28 and Hammad Azeem’s unbeaten 21 led Pakistan to two-wicket victory against the defending champions.

Indian batting collapsed at 114 runs as Pakistan won the toss at Bert Sutcliffe Oval and invited India to bat.

Indian batsmen faced difficulties against Pakistani bowlers and lost two wickets for three runs. Mandeep Singh was the only batsman that survived pressure to score sizable 40 runs.
