Pakistan Beat Japan to Qualify for HWC-2010,HockeyPakistan Beat Japan to Qualify for HWC-2010: Hockey, Pakistan defeated Japan 3-1 in the final of Qualifying Round and qualified for the Hockey World Cup 2010 to be played in India next year.
Pakistani team outclassed Japan in the final match of Qualifying Round played in Lille, France. Pakistan dominated Japan throughout the match. In the first half, Green Shirts scored 2 goals while one more goal was scored in the second half.
Japan scored only one goal against Pakistan. Sohail Abbas scored two goals while Haseem Khan scored one goal. Sohail Abbas remained the top scorer in the tournament with 9 goals.
