Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said Pakistan is an attractive destination for foreign investors due to its geographic location, investment, personal experience and raw materials become cheaper.
PM was in discussion with the Finance Minister, Shaukat Tareen and Chairman of the Board of Investment Mandviwala Salim In Prime Minister House on Saturday.
Gilani directed the two officials to attract foreign investments in the energy sector.
“The government is monitoring the situation and demand for energy and take all possible measures to cover energy shortage,” PM Said.
Federal Minister for Privatization Naveed Qamar, Qamar Zaman Kaira Infromation Minister and Minister of Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf also met with the premier.
