Parliament Committee Hold Sitting

ISLAMABAD: Parliament’s Special Committee on Constitutional Reforms met on Thursday here at Parliament House with Senator Raza Rabbani in chair.

The committee in its past sitting decided to meet every day from August 27 to reach a consensus on a constitutional package aimed at repealing the 17th Amendment and striking a balance of power between the president and prime minister.

The committee met at the Parliament House with Senator Raza Rabbani in the chair to discuss suggestions and recommendations of political parties and the civil society about constitutional reforms, the channel said.
