PCB Chief Rejects Younis Khan Resignation

ISLAMABAD,Pakistan: PCB Chief Rejects Younis Khan Resignation, The Pakistan cricket team captain Younis Khan submitted his resignation to Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board during the meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Tuesday in sports.

PCB Chairman nevertheless refused to accept the resignation. He said: “I am pleased with the performance of Younis as captain and we will resolve it within two days.”

Younis Khan said summoning the national team captain in these proceedings was an insult.

The body of the Lower House on the sport he had summoned the national team captain Younis Khan and President of the Cricket Board Ejaz Butt after the defeat of Pakistan at the Champions Trophy semi-final.

The chairman of the committee of the House of Jamshed Dasti said the meeting had no level of corruption allegations against the team.
