Peshawar gas leakage blast claims 7 lives

PESHAWAR: At least seven people including two women and four children were killed trapped under the collapsed roofs of their houses in the city area of Shah Qabool, TrendPK reports Wednesday.
The rooftops of two houses caved in after a loud blast caused by gas leakage.
According to details, room of Arshad, a resident of Farooq-e-Azam locality in Shah Qabool Colony went off with a bang when someone of the house tried to light stove, causing the roof of the house to collapse. The debris fell on another abutting house, causing the instant roof collapse.
Rescue teams kick-started relief activities with local people joining hands. The bodies of Arshad’s wife, Nazar Muhammed, his wife and a son Waqas and three daughters Asia, Aiman and Natasha were retrieved from under the rubble.
Rescue sources confirmed seven deaths and injury to a person. TrendPK
