Plea Filed For Justice Sharif’s Appointment As SC Judge

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: A petition has been field in Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry on Wednesday seeking appointment of Khawaja Sharif as Supreme Court judge besides selection of Justice Saqib Nisar as Chief Justice LHC.
The federation, law ministry and registrar Supreme Court has been made party in the plea filed by Barrister Zafar Ullah. The petitioner argued that as per law the senior most LHC judge is supposed to be elevated as an apex court judge thereby Justice Khawaja should be appointed as judge SC while Justice Saqib for being second most senior be appointed as CJ LHC.
