Political Leadership gives ‘go ahead’ to military for Waziristan operation

Lahore. Pakistan: A high-level meeting of the military and political leadership chaired by the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has decided to uproot the terrorism for once and all. Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the army had the full backing by the government to launch operation against the terrorists. The government has also decided to launch operation in Waziristan soon following the current wave of terrorism in the country. Curfew has been imposed in various areas and the people have started migration to other safe locations.

According to the sources the preparations for the operation in Waziristan have been completed. Sources told that military leadership believes the operation in South Wazirsitan is inevitable. Five tribes of South Waziristan have announced to support Pak Army in the operation against the terrorists.
