President’s Disqualification Not Expected: Malik Qayyum

Pakistan News: Former attorney general Malik Qayyum on Wednesday said that in the present scenario disqualification of the President is not foreseen.
Talking to media regarding NRO Malik Qayyum said from the very first day Supreme Court has been saying that NRO is not a good ordinance as it contains some objectionable provisions. “I was not shown the draft of the ordinance when it was made,” he added. He said the law was made only to accommodate privileged section of the society, adding that Chief Election Commissioner can disqualify beneficiaries of this discriminatory law from contenting elections.
