Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh has offered the al-Qaeda leaders to hold conditional talks.
The President said that his government is ready to hold talks and show leniency but only with those terrorists, who surrender and renounce violence. However, Yemen’s President warned to launch a crackdown against those who would continue to pursue violence. Saleh noted that security forces have achieved remarkable success over al-Qaeda in Abian and San’a areas.
