Pakistan News: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said President cannot be deposed on morality basis, adding that he and President Zardari came to power together and will leave together as well.
Answering a question about Supreme Court’s referral to article 62 and 63 of the constitution, PM Gilani said no objection surfaced on Asif Ali Zardari when he was nominated for presidential election. “President cannot be deposed on morality basis.” To another question, Gilani said right to exercise authority of inclusion or exclusion of names in Exit Control List (ECL) resides with him and vowed to retain this power.
