President Zardari Calls PPP Meeting

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a meeting of the officials of Pakistan People’s Party to consider over the standoff on appointment of judges.

The party meeting called at the President House will discuss Nawaz Sharif statements and current political situation in the country.

According to the Presidency sources, the government has decided to defend its decision at judges appointment case hearing scheduled to be held on February 18.

The president will also hold meetings with the heads of key institutions and the leaders of allied parties to brief them about the matter of the appointment of judges, sources added.
