President Zardari for Europe-like Marshall Plan in Pakistan

LAHORE, Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari has asked the world to chalk out a Martial Plan to help Pakistan fight against terrorism and militancy.

Addressing a public gathering here Sunday, the president said “The world must evolve a Martial Plan like Europe aimed at helping Pakistan coup the monster of terrorism and steer the country out of financial crises.”

“I will make the world agree on it, and one day they realize its importance,” he said.

Urging a regional approach to resolve the issue of Afghanistan, the president said “the issue can’t be solved indigenously by Pakistan but it demands regional approach, and the world must understand that way to a peaceful Afghanistan passes through our country.”

He called upon the world to support Pakistan to coup the menace of terrorism and extremism successfully.

He reiterated that the PPP-led government would bring all resources to make Pakistan a prosperous country. “I dream a country where investment comes across the world.”
