Mumbai: Ranbir Says Katrina Kaif’s a Bully!, He’s fun loving “and she is a fun loving person” – this is how Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif described together.
The two meet for the first time in Ajab Prem Ki Kahani Ghazab by Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films production, directed by Santoshi and preach releases on November 6. The crackling chemistry between the actors clearly could not speak about the film.
Katz takes the lead, and saying: “It is a simple love story about ordinary people leading ordinary lives, but told in an unusual way.” Ranbir adds, “This is the perfect way to describe it.” The two keep drawing each other’s legs, but seems pretty much in harmony. What is the secret behind the chemistry? “Chemistry is not something that two individuals, this is what the two characters in a film. It is wonderful that people see this chemical because it is a romantic film. I am happy that people can see it even in The promos of the film, “says Ranbir. Katz agrees saying: “If you want the same thing and if your vision is the same, then you are doing as a team. It leads to great chemistry.”
It is clear that they have a great time shooting together had. “Katrina is constantly bullying me and I was constantly complimenting her,” jokes Ranbir. The lead pair is aligned properly as a result of their work style. “Rajji is very specific as a director. He gets his actors to do exactly what he wants,” said Katz. “But that does not mean he is a dictator. If we thought that a scene can be done differently, he wants to hear us out. We did not get bound script and dialogues, but there were improvisations on the sets, too,” add Ranbir.
Would sermon’s earlier comic caper Andaz Apna Apna, this one too looks like a hilarious comedy. “It is an explosion and a complete entertainer,” says Ranbir. “It is meant for everyone. The appeal is broader and people across all departments will be able to relate to,” says Katz. But both believe that it is not just another run-of-the-mill comedy. “It was a beautiful story, it is not just a bunch of jokes sit together,” said Ranbir these ghazab Kahani by hints on where they had fun together with Ramesh Taurani.
