Rifts in PPP on NRO. . .?
ISLAMABAD,Pakistan News: Rifts seem gripping Pakistan People’s Party after the Supreme Court’s decision of striking down NRO with PPP leaders fail to stand on a unanimous stance.
PPP senior leader and former senator Anwar Beg says that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani should take first flight to Multan if he cannot take resignations or expel NRO ministers.
On the other hand PPP’s leader Jahangir Badar told News that the party would abide by the law. He said that the party respected the rule of law and would follow the constitution. He said that party would take devise its strategy on NRO in Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting scheduled to be held on Saturday. He said that there were some ‘political vultures’ present in the party, adding that he didn’t want to name any of them.
