Samsung just introduced the latest dual-core addition to their lineup of Android smartphones. Dubbed Samsung I9070 Galaxy S Advance, the new handset promises to become the most affordable dual-core smartphone by the Korean company.

Featuring a processor and RAM bump, Galaxy S Advance’s other specifications are pretty much same as the OG Galaxy S.

Galaxy S Advance comes with 1GHz dual core processor, 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, Gingerbread, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front camera, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 8/16B internal memory, 768MB of RAM, Allshare, FM Radio, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.

It will also feature company’s Touchwiz 4.0 UI and should get ICS update in the future. Samsung Galaxy S Advance would be available in Russia starting February, followed by CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China.

“The GALAXY S Advance adds to the successful track record of the GALAXY smartphone range with a phone that combines power and style with all the versatility of Samsung’s Hub services,” said JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.
