Sexting Teacher, A northwest Indiana fifth grade teacher has resigned his post after allegations surfaced that he sent sexually charged text messages to some of the school’s eighth grade cheerleaders.

“Something tells me ur not the goody good yur mom thinks ur. I can be tempted to play Ru tempting?” 36-year-old James Nelson allegedly texted to a 14-year-old student from Lake Central elementary school, according to the Indiana Post Tribune.

Nelson’s wife was the coach of the cheerleading squad at Lake Central and he helped out with practices, though he was not approved as an assistant coach by the school board.

He allegedly “sexted” the girl, and other cheerleaders for two months.

The girl who received the above text message received an order of protection against Nelson, who stepped down from his post last week; his wife gave up her coaching job, but remains a teacher at the school.

Apparently the texting began innocently, but turned inappropriate around Jan. 8 when his text messages turned sexual.

“Why don’t u think ur hot?” he asked the girl. “Well ur way sexy for a lil girl.”
