Sheikh Rashid Blames Rivals for Attack

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan News: Police has registered FIR of attack on Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rashid, in Pir Wadhai police station, Punjab minister Rana Sanaullah has said.

Rashid a former federal minister was injured in Monday’s shooting in which three party workers were killed.

Rashid vowed to continue his election campaign with “renewed force and enthusiasm” despite failed attempt on his life that he blamed on his opponents. He alleged that the rival party fearing of defeat in bye-elections had plotted the attack.
