Sindh, NWFP govt announce to close educational institutes

Lahore, Pakistan: The Sindh government has announced to close all educational institutes till October 25 due to terrorist attacks across the country.

According to the announcement made by Chief Secretary Sindh, all the educational institutes will remain closed this week to avoid any unwanted incident. Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul Ebad Khan said all private and government educational institutes would close from tomorrow. The NWFP government also announced to close all educational institutes across the province. However, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said security of all educational institutes would be beefed up but refused to close educational institutes. On the other hand, Commissioner Islamabad said the decision about closing the institutes had not been made so far.
