South Waziristan Region All Sealed: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: South Waziristan Region All Sealed, ISPR, Pakistan military has closed the two parts of the region of Mehsud in South Waziristan, Director General of Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Athar Abbas.

In an interview to the British news agency Athar Abbas said security forces may face strong resistance from the militants because of the presence of foreigners in their ranks, but the Pak army is firm to end militancy in the region and not let the militants escape.

“The air strikes continued in the region, the forces have blocked all exits from the Taliban cord Mehsud region. The Taliban could not flee to North Waziristan and the NWFP, said Abbas.

“The success of the operation should be. South Waziristan are cleansed of terrorists and militants as Swat,” said Director General ISPR said.
