Suicide blast in Peshawar CIA Headquarters kills 11

Peshawar, Pakistan : A suicide blast in Peshawar CIA Headquarters in Sadar Peshawar killed at least 11 people and injured several others on Friday. According to source seven people have been so far killed in the blast. The blast occurred near Swati railway crossing. Eye witnesses told that suicide attacker blew him up inside the CIA police station.
The roof of the police station collapsed after the blast and the prisoners also got injured. The bomb disposal squad revealed that 40kg explosive was used in the blast. The injured are being shifted to the Lady Reading hospitals while the security forces and the law enforcing agencies have surrounded the area. A blast in the officers’ colony Peshawar had killed a kid and injured 10 others yesterday. Talking to Dunya News NWFP Information Minister Iftikhar Hussain said that terrorists were carrying out such blasts as the effective action was being taken against them. He observed that the security forces were being targeted in the war against terror. He vowed to end the terrorists and condemned the blast.
