Supreme Court Returns NRO Review Plea

The Supreme Court has returned the NRO review petition after putting objections on it today.
Government has filed a review petition against the apex court’s December 16 decision on National Reconciliation Ordinance, challenging the decision from various aspects. The registrar office of Supreme Court has returned the petition after putting technical objections on it. Advocate on record Raja Abdul Ghafoor has sent the objections to ministry of law.
It stated that court had given the verdict after hearing the petition beyond the points mentioned in the petition and did not hear the government’s point of view on Swiss cases.
